I would guess it would not be better than the Yamaha YAS-23, but others will know more about that than I. However, how big is the church building in which you play? Smaller buildings, you may not need a mic. Larger buildings, I'd suggest a mic on a stand rather than the clip-on. Clip-ons may dull the vibration at the point of attachment, slightly altering the sound. Or they may vibrate with the horn, and create a buzz in the system.
