The Florida is brighter than the New York because it is shorter. The new Otto Link mouthpieces are great, but you need to decide what kind of sound you want. For example, on a tenor 7 is max for me. Someoneelse might like an 8*. I use Meyer and Selmer on alto. Someone else might think that they are junk. Babbitt has all the original specs plus modern technology. Just like Selmer has the original specs for the SBA and MK VI . If you can find an original New York 7, it will cost about $500. I think the new ones will be fine for you. Good luck :) Terry
