picking up tenor

Alright guys. My family is full of musicians. Currently I am experienced in Alto, Soprano, Drums, Guitar, and Bass guitar (electric, I'm pretty bad at upwright). I'm also starting piano currently. Well sax is my passion and I know I'm going to school for music ed. I am going to be working a lot this summer and will end up with around $1200 extra. I'm thinking about picking up tenor also. I want to skip the beginner horns and head to intermediate. I'm open to anything currently. New, vintage, anything. I don't want as high of quality as my alto (selmer series III), but would like something in the intermediate range. Any suggestions?

A Yamaha tenor model 61 or 62 on the used market is a professional quality horn for not too much money. Good luck.....Kelsey
