What is this Martin Alto

I have a Martin Alto s/n 128776 Lion & Crown engraving. Doesn’t say Committee II just a serial number and Low Pitch. It’s in Excellent Condition and has had new pads within the last 5 years. I inherited it from my father and would like to more about it.
