    I haven't played a super 20 bari but I own a Zephyr bari from the mid 1940's. Big , dark but focused and powerful sound. No low A, someone told me there are no low A bari,s from the good years , but that was just an opinion. Took a while to find a good mouthoiece, finally got a modern one that works great , a SR Professional.

    when i was looking for the bari i have now, i played a super 20 , zephyer, the martin, and a 12m conn from '46-'47, and the conn was clearly the best of the 4, and mouthpeice wise, i have a berg larson 110/1
