    if you had pics it would be easier but i would say at least $8000. refer to some of the saxes for sale on this site to get an idea of how much, or try an appraisal from mark.

    I have looked quite a bit on this site ,ebay, and other sites, and I am stunned! This is a 5 digit seriel number Mark VI Selmer Paris Tenor and I have not seen one anywhere on the internet that is in as good shape as this one. I just might have the best original finish, original case, MarkVI tenor on the Planet! I am keeping it! It is $ in the bank!

      It was your father's horn and I bet he loved it. It would be a shame to have to put a money value on it. His lifes breath went through the horn and it made beautiful music. If it were my father's it would never be for sale........Kelsey

        Well said, Kelsey! I have a friend who inherited his grandfather's '49 Big B tenor. Now being overhauled and soon to be enjoyed by my friend and his audiences as well- as it should be!
