    An NY Meyer is a great mouthpiece, if you're planning on spending $600 or so. A modern Meyer would be OK (and in the $75-$125 range). Vandoren V16s seem to work nicely with Super 20s, also.

      whoa, for starters a legit NY meyer is gonna cost you about 1500$ so unless you plan on investing a ton of time on the instrument dont go that route. I own two but I've found stock meyers that sound just as good. the re-issue NY meyer is 600$ and very well made. Modern Babitt meyers are good mpcs for an affordable price. CW Fobes in my opinion are the best alto pieces on the modern piece market. Vandoren V16 are also very good. 6M is a standard tip but 5M is also very common.
