Nearly all the old lions, and many more contemporary players, utilized the now vintage Conn models at one time or another in their careers. A sampling of a few of the many: Coleman Hawkins-New Wonder Series I and II Lester Young-New Wonder II, Transitional, 10M Johnny Hodges-New Wonder II Dexter Gordon-10M, 30M Harry Carney-12M Charlie Parker-6M,6M VII, New Wonder Series II Don Byas-10M Chu Berry-Transitional The list goes on........

That's a pretty good list. Here's a couple more. Stan Getz, early on in his career he played a Conn 10M before switching to a Selmer Mark VI in the late 50's. Gerry Mulligan played a Conn transitional Baritone. Charlie Barnett played a Conn 10M tenor, and a 26M Connqueror alto.

Charlie Parker went through a lot of horns, but his favorites were Conn 6Ms and Super Balanced Actions
