Hank Jones dead at 91

Hank Jones, one of the greatest jazz piano players, has died at the age of 91. He has always been my favorite because he played so well with horn players. Always the best chords, a great feel and never in the way. When it was time to solo no one could be any more inventive than Hank. He played music with all the greats. He will live on in all the excellent recordings that he's done. He was even the piano player backing Marilyn Monroe on that Happy Birthday Mr. President video. A great man, a musician of the finest caliber, he will be greatly missed........Kelsey
