Please help identify my Conn Alto please!

The alto has stars on it so I assume it's the Shooting Star series. It says USA on it and the serial says L26311 I am guessing. Can anyone please tell me the year of this sax and how much would it be worth? Is it worth repairing? Please help!

The L prefix dates it as a 1968 horn. The shooting stars were OK student horns until Conn moved production to Mexico around 1970. Have it looked at and get a repair estimate. If you go more than about $500 into that horn total, you'll probably be underwater on its market value. Not a good situation unless you're sure you'll want to keep it for a long while.

Yeah The store said they would fix it for around 220$ Plus I have 2 altos and the other one is terrible. I can only play a few notes on the conn and it already feels and plays better even with the damage, compared to my other one, which works fine but plays terribly.
