OLD SELMER

How old is my selmer? Modele 26 no. 5535 . I believe it was made before the mark six's.

    It's pretty old. From the serial number, it was made in 1926, about thirty years before Mk. VI's.

    The model 26 was made before the balance action, super balance action,and the mark VI.
