Is my C G Conn Authentic?

I help run a store and repair shop in my hometown and a member of our staff just bought a C.G.Conn LTD USA Alto Saxophone with a serial number of 166033 under the thumb rest. I can't find a modle number and the serial number layout isn't lining up with anything I thought it was going to be. The research I did said it was made in 1925/26 but there isn't much engraving on the bell either. I'm worried this isn't authentic and was hoping to get some help.

Pictures would be most helpful. That being said, I've never heard of or seen a "fake" or "counterfeit" Conn. Simply put, 99% of models aren't worth enough for someone to do counterfeits.

This does look like a Conn alto, but the right hand F# key has a shape that looks like the ones they used in the 1970's and 80's.  Conn changed their serial number back to the range you stated around 1980.  I am not sure what model (maybe a DJH?).  But it does not look like a Conn from the 1920's.
