Recommended Alto reeds for Meyer 5M, Vandoren A6 s, and Jody Jazz DV #7

Hi, I wanted some wise imput on what most of you are using for the following Alto mouthpieces: Meyer 5M, Vandoren A6 small, and Jody Jazz DV #7. I currently use Vandoren V-16 2 1/2 on all of them, but wanted to explore some more options without actually buying bunch of them without recommendation. Thanks.

    i actually use NORMAL RICO's on my Meyer 5, with great results. I can get altissimo D out easy, and low Bb even easier. The reeds aren't even hard, they're 2's.

      I like using vandoren java 2.5s on my DV 8, not sure about a 7. My friend said he had good results with ZZs but I haven't experienced it myself...

      Well I haven't played the second and third mouthpieces but I swore by my Meyer 5M until I got a vintage Selmer metal classic. On the Meyer I used Java 3s and V16 3s and got a nice sound which cut through most bands. I'm playing around with a La Voz Medium and Rico Red 3 on the Selmer now and getting a warmer sound. Love it.

    Try a LaVoz medium or medium-soft. I've had the best luck with LaVoz reeds. Jim

    On my Meyer, I use blue box Vandorens . . . I play a 6M, and use #3 reeds.
