Neckstrap

hey guys, i'm in marching band and my neckstrap is starting to smell. dont really want to get a new one. is there anyway that i could clean/wash it? i thought about putting it in a dishwasher but i thought i would get your opinions first. thanks bariboy

    two things, fabreze (spelling), cheap vodka in a spray bottle does the trick as well, but it just depends on the level of stink and the material of the strap. also, cheap vodka though one of those brita water filters (4x) means really good vodka!

      there is nothing wrong with putting a neckstrap in with your laundry as long as there are no leather parts. plastic and metal hardware, webbing, string, and foam parts will all go through with no harm done

        Buy a new one. You kids only think about mouthpieces. Modify a guitar strap and write something hideous on it with nail polish :) All the best Terry
