Welcome aboard! You'll find lots of experienced and helpful folks here, as well as people like me who've only been playing a few years (I'm a lifelong singer/guitarist who got my 1st sax at 49). I started with a YTS-23, but the *#^% octave key on that thing 'made' me move up to a YTS-82Z only a year later (and I doubt I'll ever fell the need to buy another tenor). Now I'm looking for the 'ideal' curved soprano (which for me would sound as close to a clarinet as possible) to extend my range...
