Hi Jerry. I wish I had good news, but these old melody saxes aren't worth much. I saw a brand new looking Silver Plated Buescher sell for under $1000. York is probably a stencil name put on by Conn or Buescher, and would sell for less, generally, than that Buescher True Tone. You might go to www.saxpics.com to try to find out more. I hope we can add you to the sax playing fraternity, but a C melody would be hard to get much use out of. If you can play along with piano it might be interesting to keep. If it needs an overhaul, some trendy restaurant in your area is just jonesing to hang it on their wall, and hand you $200. Good Luck.
