Grandpa's sax

Im having a hard time identifying this sax. He played a long time and left it to me in 1991 when he passed. I could have sworn it was an alto but I find tenor reeds in the case. Im not sure but I think the serial number is 111184 and I think the pat is 11119954. It has an "A" at the top and a "L" at the bottom, Im thinking his means "low tone alto" am I right? Also, Im not sure what a rolling tone hole is but I think this sax has them. It has a protective metal ring where the mouth piece goes. Can anyone tell me the value of this? Thank you so much!
