Posted a song -- how to modulate loudness?

I've uploaded my first sax song.
Take a listen to it in  my profile.

It sounds very beginnerish -- but that makes sense :)

What I'd like to know is, Is there a technique to play notes at different loudness?

Right now -- its all at one loudness -- loud!   How can I play softly?

I found  that if I move my mouth out towards the end of the mouthpiece it does get softer -but that is just a guess.

Start by practicing long tones with an emphasis on developing good embouchure and breath support.  That is the foundation for everything else you will do with the horn.  The trick with embouchure is to allow the reed to vibrate freely while maintaining good control of intonation and tone (no biting!).  Good breath support means supporting your breathing with your stomach muscles.  That allows you to develop a steady, controlled airstream.  There are lots of good practice tips on bestsaxophonewebsiteever.com.  But the main point is, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
