martin tenor sax holton alto

martin tenor sax, holton alto

Hi

My grandfather gave me a martin tenor sax and an alto frank holton sax,  fourty years ago to play in school. I enjoyed playing the tenor sax for many years. I just pulled them out of the attic and am looking for some information on them.
The martin is a low pitch serial number 71962 with metal mouthpiece.

The alto is a frank holton serial number 91114 also metal mouth piece, in silver.   I
loved playing the horns as a kid but am now in my 50's  I think they may be worth something.  I also have the originally cases I think
.
Thanks in advance for any  help you can give.

mike both are very great horns, considering the quaity of todays saxes. that hortom is rare,.martins ar very niceinstruments and go for decent monry, check t see who made mouthpieces, they ca be more valuable than the sax!horton appears to be from 1923 and martin from1926 -27. wanna sell either one?
