Custom Mouthpieces

I'm thinking about getting a custom mouthpiece made for jazz playing. I've been checking out mouthpieceheaven.com and I was considering getting a mouthpiece made by them. Dave Tondi, Theo Wanne's apprentice is now doing all the mouthpieces. Is anyone familiar with his work? Can anyone recomend a someone who is really good? I live in NJ. I'm thinking about getting an old selmer soloist worked on so it can play jazz. (Think Kenny Garrett or Joe Henderson) Thanks.

I've never heard of that site, so I wouldn't know much about that, but I've heard from a lot of players about r.p.c. mouthpieces. You could email the guy there about your project, though it would be fairly pricy. I think the adress is like saxmpc.com or something like that.

if it's coming from Theo's workshop, it's gonna be a good piece. You might also want to try Wil Grizzle out of atlanta...he does good work too...
