LA Sax is like Cannonball. They have a lot of innovative ideas, and they have tried to combine what people love about the vintage horns, with the features and technology of today's horns. Also like Cannonball, LA Sax is a US based company who imports their horns from Taiwan. The quality control of these Taiwanese horns still has room for improvement. The new horns are considerably better than those made even 3 years ago, so I do think their quality has come a long ways. LA Sax is also known for their elaborate finishes and colors. Some of their horns are heavily lacquered, which does effect the tone to some extent.
