Selm Bundy II, Yam YAS23 or Kessler Solist Student?

I am a the father of an aspiring sax player in need of her first horn and hoping you can give me some advice. It looks like I can pick up one of these three alto saxes for roughly the same price. The Solist brand new - from Kessler (who seems to have an extremely good reputation on various forums), seen here www.kesslermusic.com/solist/AS10/as10.htm and the Yam and Selmer are used but appear to be in very good to excellent condition. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    You can't go too terribly wrong with any of those. Kessler has a tremendous reputation, which is very important when buying a new horn. I much prefer the YAS-23 over the Bundy II if I had the choice, but whom you buy it from should be a big consideration
