Help with identifying Giardon tenor sax

Despite my screen name, I also play sax, and I've been looking to purchase a tenor. There's an auction house near us that has musical instruments occasionally. This weekend there is a tenor coming up for sale. The only things on it was the name Giardon, made in Italy, and a serial code. I ran a Goolgle search and found NOTHING!! I was going to try it out, but am hesitant unless I can find some kind of info on it. Help Me! jenntheflutist

Re: Help with identifying Giardon tenor sax

Hi Jenn, I've played a few Borgani's and other Italian made horns, and they're usually pretty good. I'm not familiar with that particular brand. It could be a stencil sax; most likely made by either Borgani or R&C (I can never remember how to spell the name!).
