YAS 82 or 875

Hello ! Just picked up my alto and started playing again for the first time i 15 years - it was great and suprisingly i came into it really quick. I´ve decided to upgrade to a new model - I have a YAS-23 and was thinking of trying out a 82 or a 875 - which ones do you prefer and why?

Rafael, I think it is great you have picked the horn up again ,and decided to play once more. I personally play an 82Z on alto and think it is one of the greatest horns I have ever played. I have played the 875 and the action and sound is awesome. The horns are extremely similar but the 875 is designed to be more of a classical horn (I personally think a good horn is a good horn, and capable of any style, your sound is internal). The Z is the new cross breed between the custom and the 62. If you want to play mainly classical I would suggest the 875, both jazz and classical the Z, and just jazz the Z or check out the 62II (good horn). Hope This Helps Tracy
