Introducing myself....

I'm pretty new to the saxophone, having only played a little over a year. But people say that I am at the level of most people in their third and fourth years. I am in the advanced band in my middle school playing tenor(yts-62II) and I play first tenor in the jazz band. I was looking in to getting an alto and I was wondering if a Buescher True Tone was a good buy. Maybe I should stick to modern saxes because I don't have that much experience. I'd like some info.
