BERG LARSEN Hard Rubber Slant Signature Precision 80 Back to model

This is a extremely hard to come by 40’s vintage Berg Larsen Precision Slant Signature mouthpiece for tenor saxophone, facing number 80.

The mouthpiece is in great physical condition for its age showing no signs of ever receiving any major wear or alteration to the table, rails and tip. Its body is also in very good shape. There is some typical oxidation to the hard rubber but nothing that will effect the way the mouthpiece plays.

The inside of this mouthpiece features a medium throat opening and a nice bullet chamber. This mouthpiece takes in the air quickly and can throw down an impressive amount of volume. The tip opening on this piece is original and measures just a hair over .080”.
