SELMER Lacquer Radio Improved (Serial Number: 19982) Back to model

This is a vintage Selmer Radio Improved tenor sax, serial number 19982.  The sax was relacquered quite a while ago, and stands at about 85% lacquer remaining.  The only wear is found in the usual touch points and on the back of the body tube. 

There are no dents in the bottom bow, and a couple minor dings have been taken out professionally.  The horn does not have the original neck, but instead a Mark VI neck that is perfect, and definitely compliments to the sound.

The sax feels effortless under the fingers.  This tenor is a great player too, with a rich warm, core sound.
